We went and got our kids group photo taken yesterday and as I meant to do it in the summer when their complexions were less waxy I had matching polo shirts and shorts for them. I thought I could still use the shirts and just put them in Levis, but when I went outside that afternoon I decided that in all actuality they could wear the shorts and be just fine. So we went and got the pictures taken and had to go straight to Emma's dance. We went to Costco while she was there and I noticed a child dressed in a coat and gloves. Neither my kids nor him were dressed inappropriately and yet we were completely different. I am wondering if there is something profound in there, or if we just live in a weird weather place.
