A dramatic couple of weeks

We have had a fun, creative couple of weeks. Emma and Caleb were in Missoula Children Theater's production of The Little Mermaid. Emma was the queen and she was lovely. She carried herself with so much grace and was very clear and personable. She even got a nomination to their summer camp. Only four students were chosen from the entire cast. Caleb was a seahorse and he had so much fun. He was the smiliest one- just ask him. They had a great time and learned a lot about expression and projection. They were very cute.
Ammon was in Seussical at Riverview last week in the role of Horton the Elephant. This kind of took over our lives for a couple of weeks and it was great fun. We all helped him learn his parts and I helped with the dinner and we all cheered him on. Micah even wore a gray shirt so that he would look like an elephant too. He was amazing in his role. He showed so much emotion and really gave it his heart. It was a real treat to watch him. He was constantly in character and made it really interesting to watch. His goal was to make people cry and it worked on his mom at least. He was really appreciative of his musical theater friends who came to watch. It meant a lot to him.It was hard for him to see it end. Luckily, the memories live on...
