We went to the Everglades National Park and saw some of their natural inhabitants live up and personal. It was disconcerting to be so close to something with so many sharp teeth, but it was fascinating to see them just lumbering on digesting their breakfasts. It was truly the stuff that nightmare were made of, but we loved it.
