Steve Did It

Well it took 25 hours, three timing covers, too many trips to the store to count, many, many little scrapes and scratches, and more patience than most of us could muster, but Steve fixed the red car! He had to take the whole engine out twice and redo everything, but it's good as gold now. He found that when he did it on Saturday it was so hot that it actually broke one of the parts. There were several times of momentous discouragement, but bless his heart, he just kept on going. Now I can't even here him coming from the top of the street! It has more power, is smoother, and most importantly, it isn't spewing oil everywhere. Now he's going to tune up the van for our trip and hopefully he will be out of the car repair business for awhile. Hooray for Steve!
