Last week was full of dance for us as we performed in The Nutcracker. Well, some of us did and some of were the cheering audience. Caleb was a darling Party Scene boy, Micah was a Teddy Bear, Ammon and Emma were the Teddy Bear Mama and Papa, Emma was a Court Jester and Japanese dancer, and Ammon was in Russian and Spanish. Our biggest challenge was getting Emma changed out of her Court Jester costume and into her Teddy Bear costume in about 45 seconds. We pinned her blouse together, had one person pull off while another put on, and decided to forgo the nose. It was tricky, but she made it inside her box on time both nights. Micah really liked being a Teddy Bear and mentioned it often to random people on the street. He even wore his pink shorts and tights to our choir practice on picture day. He was so happy to finally be a part of the show and be on the stage instead of just watching.

Traci, I don't have any great way of contacting you or your sisters, but... I want you to all know we have had your sweet families in our prayers these past few weeks. I called the DC temple and put your names on the prayer roll. I hope you have felt peace this Christmas season. I have such happy memories of times with your family when we were little... can't you just taste Grandma Cutlers rolls on Thanksgiving when the house is warm and the windows are steamy and it is cold outside? I love your dad. We will continue to pray and know that Heavenly Father has a plan... xoxoxoxox
