Snow White

Micah picked out a book to read today. He reads a page and I read a page. He chose Snow White because he had never read it before. When we got to the end and the Prince kissed Snow White he blurted out "Awkward..." and then moved one. I found it an interesting bullet on the difference between being the oldest child and being the youngest. When Ammon was read that story, the kiss meant nothing. It was just the end of the story. Now, Micah, hearing the different level of talk we have knows that a kiss is more than just a small thing, it is a commitment and that Snow White should have never have let him kiss her without him having served a mission yet. There are advantages to being the oldest and advantages to being the youngest, but they are definitely not the same.
