Ammon's birthday

Ammon decided to postpone his birthday for a few days because his birthday was just too busy. Welcome to post-childhood, I guess. He had to be at the school at 6:30 to help with a rock cataloging project at the library, so instead of crepes he had a PopTart for breakfast. Then, in the afternoon he had appointments for his merit badges (another reason to postpone his birthday) and a 10 page paper to finish, so he didn't even have his birthday dinner until Sunday. We did take time to go to the park and fly kites and that was fun. He liked the candy bar card that Micah and I made for him, but Micah figured that since he half made it he should be able to half eat it! Ammon did finally manage to celebrate his birthday this weekend with a lot of Wii, crepes for breakfast, chicken alfredo for dinner, and no chores or homework. He is really excited about life right now and as long as it isn't early in the morning, really fun to have around.
