Jonah has enjoyed playing soccer this year (with the exception of Thursday games. "Why did you sign me up for Thursdays? Couldn't you just have told them I'd only play on Saturdays?!?") He is getting better and likes defense better than offense. One of his friends has a deal with his dad that if he scores a goal in a game, his dad gives him a dollar. If he doesn't score a goal he has to pay his dad a dime. He scored in the first game and not since. He says he's going to stop the deal, but it seems to me that he's still in the black and ought to just keep going. Jonah gets a treat at the game, sometimes someone there to watch and a hearty slap on the back at the end. Good job anyway.
